Over the years the business grew to such an extent that in June 2013, Alresford Beauty re-launched itself in new larger premises at 24a West Street taking the ground and lower ground floor. In January 2018 Alresford Beauty expanded into all four floors of the premises.

Lastly a Sports Massage Certificate (under the IIHHT – International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies) was gained in May 2000.

Rachael briefly worked at The Botley Park Hotel and Country Club as Beauty Therapist and Aerobics instructor when she left college, but after seeing an advertisement in the Hampshire Chronicle for a beauty room to let decided to take the plunge and work for herself.
Now, 30 years after her initial qualifications, she still loves the jobs as much as ever.
“I am so lucky to be able to get up in the morning and love the fact that I am off to work. I have built up a fantastic little business, and many of my clients I would class as friends. I pride myself in knowing you all by name! I feel my niche treatments are waxing, electroysis and red vein therapy. I also love treating ‘problem skins’ whatever your problem may be. Also if you have a knotty stressed back then my massage is firm, but effective.”
Sarah did 3 years at BCOT (Basingstoke College of Technology) and achieved NVQ2 level 3 in beauty therapy.
On leaving college she went to work in a health club in Bracknell, then went to a beauty salon in Alton, and then onto a hotel spa.
Finding the spa clientèle very transient, she craved getting to know her clients better, so joined Alresford Beauty in March 2010. Now been in the industry 13 years and still enjoying it.
Since her original qualifications, Sarah has trained with Espa, Guinot, La Phyto, Elemis, Opi, Jessica, St-tropez and since joining Alresford Beauty has trained in Clarins. Qualified in Jessica Geleration gel nail system in 2011.
“I enjoy doing facials, manicures and pedicures, but most of all, I love the variety that everyday brings as well as chatting and getting to know my clients.”
